We are celebrated New Year at Cabana this year. I went there with my boy friend and friends. During that time, we are really enjoyed it and happy to count down a new year coming.

He's funny and also a bit weird (I think maybe he is drunk already and maybe he is too open minded,haha..). Actually this old man is a Japanese, he can speak in English but all of us don't understand what is he talking about on that time. Haha.. He came to us and bring along with his beer, and said want to drink with us. Some things happen now, he asked my friend follow him go back to Classic Hotel... #@%$%$@#.... We are looking each other and laugh. You know why,because this old man already 70++ years old but he's still strong,haha... At the end, my friend forced to take picture together with him. Of course, me too. But my boyfriend was angry to him that time, then this old man only answer to my boyfriend one sentence :" she's cute.." hahhaahahah... Oh my god, this old man is really funny.. But i already deleted the picture that I took together with him.

Time flies. I have posted my blog since 30th may 08 til now.. So, what am I going to post today?? No idea. But I think I would like to share my experience that what I have already done during this half an year. Between this half an year, I have been my internship "training" at Everly Resort Hotel, Malacca. Start from 16th of June 08 - 28th Nov 08, I have learned many things that what we are going to do and how we are going to solve the problems in this real industry. Actually if really wants to run a business, that is not easy for us. I have trained in two department which is Front Office and Housekeeping. It's really meaningful and I really enjoyed it during that time.

Everly Resort Hotel, Malacca

Last Friday (11th April 2008), I asked wei nie and lee xin bring me to go to Everly Resort Hotel. Around 8pm, we went there and look around the surrounding of Everly Resort because i need to go there for interview the next day.When we all reached there, we saw a very nice view behind the hotel. That's good.. =P

The next day (12th April 2008) at 2pm, we reached the resort hotel and meet that hotel's Training Executive. His name Winston Tan ( opportunely same as Winston Tey, hehe =P ). He is very good person, and kindly, friendly, funny and many many... So we decided we will training at this Resort Hotel.

After our interview, all of us visit that hotel.
This is the beach that behind the hotel. Is a very nice place for peoples to go.

Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura has appointed Doraemon an anime ambassador. Doraemon, a Japanese culturual icon, is a time traveling robot cat created by Fujiko F. Fujio. So now we know who Doraemon is, but… what exactly is an anime ambassador? Apparently Doraemon will use his popculture status on diplomatic missions overseas to enlighten the world about Japanese Animation and the Japanese culture. Doraemon promised the foreign minister the following:

“Through my cartoons, I hope to convey to people abroad what ordinary Japanese people think, our lifestyles and what kind of future we want to build.”

All I have to say on this subject is simply “Wow.” Speaking of crazy Japanese ambassadors, mascots, and spokespeople, Did you know that Ryoma Echizen of Prince of Tennis fame is a representative for the Japanese Tennis Association? How about that Astro Boy is the ambassador for overseas safety? Hello Kitty has been Japan’s child ambassador for UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) since 1998? Yep. 好累，刚从健身房回来。总觉得，最近的我爱上了健身房。每天，我都一定会去那里报到一个小时。去健身房到底有没有好处呢？会不会瘦呢？呵呵。。真想知道答案，希望我的瘦身计划能够成功。加油，加油。

除此之外，每天我都得去上课。不过，这个学期我只需要上三天的课喔，真开心。上课时间，星期二，星期三和星期四。上些什么课呢? Housekeeping Management & Practical, Front Office Management & Practical, & Info Tech. 三个科目而已，但是已经要了我的命咯。=（才刚开学两个星期，但是再过五个星期又要考试了，我该怎么办呢？好累。上个星期，我刚去Office拿了我上个学期的成绩，好失望，比第一个学期来的差，觉得好对不起我的父母亲。不过我希望这次的考试能考好。

下课后，回到家里，要打扫，要洗衣，要烫衣，要煮饭....好多东西要做喔，好累。不过，还是有时间for entertainment。哈哈.. 偶尔也需要去一下shopping喔，买些东西宠宠自己，这样的人生才有乐趣嘛！

Thousands of tourists come to Venice to see and take part in its magnificent Carnival; walking round in fancy dress in this city's magical scenery means taking part in a truly exceptional happening. Those mysterious, disturbing Venetian masks, eyeing you from the city's alleyways are part of what we imagine the Venetian world would have been like 300 years ago. They are an irresistible attraction for what is undoubtedly one of the world's most unique experiences: the re-living of 18th century Venice.

Wearing masks has always been more than just simple fun for the Venetians; it is still a strongly felt tradition with deep cultural roots.

Venetians were famous for being libertines and for transgression - they didn't just use masks during the official Carnival. Putting on a mask in Venice meant taking forbidden liberties: you could jibe at the powerful, gamble without being caught, take risks over love or business deals and even enter convents without being seen. A numbers of restrictive laws passed on dressing up prove how widespread the habit was.

Venetian masks can be made in leather or with the original papier-mache technique. The original masks were rather simple in design and decoration. They often had a symbolic and practical function. Nowadays, most of them are made with the application of gesso and golf leaf and are all hand-painted using natural feathers and gems to decorate. Most masks sold in the tourist shops in Venice have nothing to do with the original Venetian masks.

They have three type of masks:
Bauta
Bauta is a "mask which covers the whole face, with a stubborn chin line, no mouth, and lots of gilding". One may find masks sold as Bautas that cover only the upper part of the face from the forehead to the nose and upper cheeks, thereby concealing identity but enabling the wearer to talk and eat or drink easily. It tends to be the main type of mask worn during the Carnival. It was used also on many other occasions as a device for hiding the wearer's identity and social status. It would permit the wearer to act more freely in cases where he or she wanted to interact with other members of the society outside the bounds of identity and everyday convention. It was thus useful for a variety of purposes, some of them illicit or criminal, others just personal, such as romantic encounters.

Moretta
The moretta is an oval mask of black velvet that was usually worn by women visiting convents. It was invented in France and rapidly became popular in Venice as it brought out the beauty of feminine features. The mask was finished off with a veil.

Larva
The larva, also called the volto mask, is mainly white, and typically Venetian. It is worn with a tricon and cloak. It is thought the word "larva" comes from the Latin meaning "mask" or "ghost". It is easy to imagine the effect of a Venetian all dressed in black with a white mask and a black tricorn, going past in the moonlight. Like the bauta, the shape of the mask allowed the bearer to breathe and drink easily, and so there was no need to take it off, thus preserving anonymity. These masks were made of fine wax cloth and so were much lighter and were not irritating to wear making them ideal for eating, dancing and flirting.

We went there for watching Jay Chou's Concert...
We went from Genting at around 3pm somethgs...

Topic of my assignment is NEW RESTAURANT OPENING.
The question is " you have just been hired as the F&B Manager of this hotel which has just been names as WINSORS HOTEL. The GM has asked you to come up with the entire F&B Departments opening of the fine dining restaurant and the coffee house."

Question 1 is
" come up with an A LA CARTE menu, prices and name and for the menu prepared with a justification of the prices for this coffee house which you think is suitable for this hotel"

Question 2 is
" what is seating capacity of the fine dining restaurant and why?"

We want to buy Jay Chou's Concert ticket.
BUT where is it the Galaxy Group Sdn. Bhd???

They have an autograph session here..
I go there with my sister and my friends.
The autograph session is start from 8pm, but we reach there at about 6pm.
( so kia shu..wahaha... =P )

When i reached there, fans of F.I.R ady queuing up there and waiting for the gate open.
When the gate is open, all of them run into Arena..
Of course, me too..

上个星期六（01/12/07）大家都为我庆祝生日，我很感动，也觉得很惊喜。

He is my Chef and also can say he is my lecturer.. His name Tan MC. We always call him as Chef Tan. He is such a good person and a good Chef. He always make us laugh and laugh.. He will let us relax when the exam is coming and in the class. We love him so much.. BUT he ady went to Singapore this morning 10.30am because he's going to be the Chef at Singapore!!! "Chef Tan, we will miss you always.. Take care!! "

"Happy birthday to u, happy birthday to u, happy birthday to Hui Teng, happy birthday to u!!! " Today is my birthday... All my friends,Jeffrey, Jessica, Ah Shang, KC, Sam, Mei Ying and my dearest Chef Tan came to my condo celebrate my birthday with me!!! Of coz my sis and another two hzmates, Winnie and Yasmine. I was syiok when they came. They came to my condo at 12am and they all ady pakat with my sis before,but i very happy although i got a very big surprise. They bought many cakes but all different taste,got strawberry cheese cake, grapes cheese cake, orange cheese cake, tiramisu, chocolate banana cake, and many many.. My sis gave me 1kg Famous Amos Biscuit. "Thank you,my dearest sis..." and also thanks to my Chef Tan because he had give me a small present and treat me a great dinner at Genting!! Something special for tis year is i had my birthday without my dearest bro..

Today, my housemate, Yasmine give me some special can drinks.. She bought from Singapore. After she gave me, i was very surprise because the brand of that drinks are WHATEVER and ANYTHING... No wonder that day she asked my another housemate " whatever or anything you want??? ".. Haha.. It's really such a special things.. But i haven't drink it yet because i'm not willing to drink it.. Hehe..
